Example of Workflow
Suppose we need to weld a complex metal frame
Planning: Engineers use supporting software to design the placement and combination of all fixture components on the computer based on the 3D model.
Preparation: Workers receive the assembly drawings and take out the required components such as locating pins, stoppers, and clamps from the tool cart.
Installation: Fix the positioning components to the designated holes on the platform with bolts to establish the external boundaries and positioning datums of the workpiece.
Placing the workpiece: Place the parts to be welded on the set positioning components to ensure they are in place.
Clamping: Install and operate the clamping components to firmly fix the parts, ensuring they do not move during the welding process.
Welding: Perform the welding operation. Due to reliable clamping, welding deformation is smaller and precision is higher.
Disassembly: After welding is completed, loosen the clamps and take down the finished product.
Reassembly: Remove all used fixture components from the platform and put them back on the cart. The workbench returns to a blank state, ready for the clamping task of a completely different workpiece next time.
