Gap bite. Sealed parts have poor geometric accuracy (including roundness, ellipticity, cylindricity, coaxiality, etc.), different cores between parts and inner diameter expansion under high pressure, which will lead to expansion of seal clearance and intensification of the clearance extrusion phenomenon.
Permanent deformation. Because synthetic rubber material used in o-ring seals is a viscoelastic material, initial setting of compression amount and rebound plugging capacity will gradually lose permanent deformation and eventually leak after a long time of use.
Distortion. Distortion refers to the phenomenon that O-ring seals twists around the circumference, and the distortion phenomenon generally occurs in the dynamic seal state.
