Design and Construction

Material selection: Commonly used materials include steel, which is chosen as the preferred option for welding workbenches due to its high strength and good durability; stainless steel is corrosion-resistant and suitable for environments with high requirements for rust prevention; aluminum is lightweight and corrosion-resistant, but its durability is not as good as that of steel; cast iron is extremely durable and stable, but it is heavy and has high processing difficulty.
Frame structure: The frame needs to be sufficiently sturdy to support heavy loads. Thick-walled steel pipes are an ideal choice, such as 60x40x4mm steel pipes, which can ensure the rigidity and strength of the structure.
Desktop design: The desktop requires a flat surface. It is usually made of thick steel plates, such as 16mm thick steel plates, to provide a stable welding surface. To facilitate the installation of accessories like clamps and other components, the desktop often has grid-like perforations, such as 50x50mm grids.
Size customization: Its length, width, and height can be customized according to the user's working space and welding project requirements to ensure that the operator has a comfortable working height and sufficient operation space.
Core design dimension
Punching patterns and spacing customization: Desktop punching is the core functional design of the welding station. The standard model usually has a 50×50mm grid hole. Customized models can be adjusted to 25×25mm, 30×30mm dense holes, or customized long waist holes or special-shaped holes to adapt to the rapid installation of special tooling fixtures; or only holes can be made in the local area of the desktop, and the non-working area can be made solid and flat to meet the requirements of mixed operations.
Workpiece integration customization: Integrate dedicated fixtures, positioning blocks, rotating workstations, vise holders, etc. directly on the worktable surface / frame without additional installation required, suitable for standardized operations in batch welding, such as customizing dedicated workpiece positioning slots for automotive component welding to achieve rapid loading and fixation of workpieces.
Load-bearing and load capacity customization: According to the weight of the welding workpiece (such as heavy steel structures, large equipment components), increase the thickness of the desktop steel plate (20-30mm), strengthen the wall thickness of the frame steel pipe (5-8mm), or add support legs / crossbeams, increasing the worktable load capacity from the conventional 500kg/㎡ to over 2000kg/㎡ to avoid deformation of the tabletop under heavy load.
Special structure customization: Design as a liftable, rotatable, and spliced structure. The liftable model is suitable for different height operators or vertical welding needs, the rotating model is convenient for circumferential operations of the welding workpiece, and the spliced model can be used to connect multiple worktable surfaces according to the size of the workpiece to meet the welding of large workpieces.
Environmental adaptation customization: For outdoor welding, damp / corrosive workshops (such as chemical equipment welding), customize full stainless steel material or add surface anti-corrosion coatings; for dust-free workshop welding, customize a desktop process without burrs or dust accumulation to avoid dust accumulation affecting welding accuracy.
Environmental compliance requirements

Surface coating: Utilize eco-friendly powder coating / paint without lead or chromium, in compliance with environmental standards such as EU ROHS and ASTM in the United States, to prevent the emission of harmful gases from the coating and be suitable for environmental testing in the workshop.
Dust / waste collection: Customized integrated welding smoke collection interface, which can directly connect to the welding smoke purification equipment in the workshop; a customized waste collection box is custom-made under the tabletop to facilitate the centralized handling of iron filings and welding slag, in line with the 5S management requirements of the workshop.
Noise control: Customized welding tables for automation / semi-automation, with sound-absorbing cotton / shock-absorbing pads customized at the motor, rotating shaft, etc., to control the operating noise ≤ 70 dB, in compliance with the noise emission standards of industrial workshops.
Installation, transportation and post-operation maintenance

Transportation and Installation: Large / Heavy-duty Custom Welding Tables will be designed in a modular split format for convenient logistics transportation. Upon arrival at the site, professional installation services will be provided by the manufacturer. The table surface accuracy will be ensured through laser leveling. Small custom tables are of an integrated design and can be used immediately after unpacking. No additional installation is required.
Daily Maintenance: If the surface coating is damaged, it can be re-coated with anti-rust paint to prevent the steel plate from rusting. Weld slag and iron filings inside the perforations can be cleaned using a high-pressure air gun. Special cleaning tools can be provided for custom-shaped holes / slots. Moving parts such as clamps and rotating shafts should be regularly lubricated to ensure flexibility.
Later Modifications: High-quality custom welding tables will have expansion interfaces reserved. According to the later operation requirements, clamps, expansion table surfaces, and additional support structures can be added without the need for a complete replacement, thereby reducing the usage cost.
