D28/D16 3D welding table is a modular welding tooling base platform based on a 28mm or 16mm standardized grid system.It enables all modular components (from different manufacturers) that comply with this standard to be interchangeable and combinable on the same platform through unified hole spacing (28mm or 16mm equidistant arrays) and aperture standards, thereby constructing three-dimensional welding fixtures.

Main Workflow
1. Process Planning
◦ Analyze the 3D model or drawing of the workpiece to determine the main datums and clamping points.
◦ Plan the component layout on paper or a simple CAD grid drawing.
2. Platform Preparation
◦ Clean the platform surface and grid holes to ensure there is no welding slag or dust.
3. Fixture Construction (following the "Positioning First" principle)
◦ Step 1: Establish the main datums. Install components (such as positioning blocks, pins) for the main positioning surfaces/points of the workpiece.
◦ Step 2: Auxiliary support. Install auxiliary support points to prevent deformation.
◦ Step 3: Apply clamping force. Finally, install the pressers and apply force from the direction opposite to the positioning points.
4. Verification and Production
◦ Load the first piece and verify key dimensions using tools such as gauges.
◦ Start batch welding operations after verification.
5. Disassembly and Replacement
◦ After production is completed, disassemble the components in sequence, clean and return them to their original positions, and restore the platform to its initial state.
