Installation method
1. Prepare tools and work surface: Make sure there is a clean and flat metal surface to install the Double fold self-locking washer. The inner beveled tooth surfaces are opposite, and the outer radial convex surface is in bite state with the contact surfaces at both ends.
2. Place washers: Place the inner beveled tooth surfaces of the two washers opposite each other and place them between the nut and the connecting material. In this way, when the nut is tightened, the outer radial convex surface of the anti-loosening washer is in bite state with the contact surfaces at both ends2.
3. Tighten the nut: When the nut is tightened, the design of the Double fold self-locking washer makes the friction between the inner beveled tooth surfaces greater than the friction between the outer radial convex surface and the contact surfaces at both ends. Therefore, when the connection is vibrated and the bolts loosen, only the relative displacement between the inner beveled tooth surfaces is allowed, thereby generating lifting tension to achieve the effect of preventing loosening.
