Q1: What's the difference between D28 and D16 hole systems? Which one should I choose?

A: The D28 system features 28mm holes on a 100×100mm grid and is designed for heavy steel structures, large fabrications, and heavy machinery assembly - it handles higher loads and larger workpieces. The D16 system has 16mm holes on a 50×50mm grid, offering finer positioning for sheet metal work, small components, and precision fabrication. Choose D28 for heavy-duty structural work; choose D16 for detailed, smaller-scale projects requiring tighter grid spacing.

Q2: What material options are available, and which is right for my workshop?

A: We offer two primary materials: Q355 structural steel and HT250 cast iron. Q355 steel tables are weldable, impact-resistant, and cost-effective - ideal for general fabrication and shops that occasionally weld directly to the table surface. Cast iron tables offer superior vibration damping, exceptional flatness stability, and excellent wear resistance - perfect for high-precision work and long-term dimensional accuracy. Both are available with nitrided surface treatment.

Q3: What is nitrided surface treatment, and why does it matter?

A: Nitriding is a heat treatment process that diffuses nitrogen into the table surface, creating a hard, wear-resistant layer with hardness up to HV600+. This treatment dramatically improves the table's resistance to weld spatter buildup, rust, and surface abrasion. Weld splatter chips off easily instead of sticking, the surface stays flat and accurate much longer, and cleanup between jobs is faster - extending the working life of your table significantly.

Q4: What is the load capacity of these welding tables?

A: Load capacity varies by model and material. Our D28 series tables typically support 3 to 5 tons of evenly distributed load, making them suitable for heavy structural steel and large assemblies. Our D16 series tables handle 1 to 3 tons, ideal for sheet metal and medium-weight fabrications. All tables feature a reinforced rib structure underneath to maintain rigidity and flatness under load. If you have specific heavy-load requirements, we can customize the table structure accordingly.

Q5: Are the accessories compatible across different table sizes and series?

A: Yes - all accessories within the same hole system (D28 or D16) are fully compatible across every table size in that series. For example, a D28 quick-locking pin works on any D28 table, whether it's 1000×500mm or 3000×1500mm. This means you can start with one table and expand later without replacing your existing fixturing. Note that D28 and D16 accessories are not interchangeable between systems due to different hole diameters.

Q6: Can I order custom sizes, and what is the typical lead time?

A: Yes, we offer full customization - including non-standard dimensions, special materials, custom hole patterns, integrated T-slots, and branded marking. Standard sizes typically ship within 15–20 working days. Custom orders usually take 20–30 working days depending on complexity. We ship worldwide via sea freight, air freight, or express courier, and our export team handles all documentation including packing lists, commercial invoices, and certificates of origin.
