I. General Rust Prevention Cycle
1. Basic Maintenance Frequency
o Monthly: Apply lithium-based grease (thickness 0.1-0.2mm) to the work surface, focusing on protecting the locating pin holes and sliding components.
o Quarterly Deep Treatment: Nitriding or chrome plating (applicable to steel platforms) can extend the protection period to 6-12 months.
2. Special Environment Adjustments
o High-humidity/corrosive environments require a reduction in treatment frequency to once every two weeks, and an additional application of anti-rust paint (epoxy coating) should be added.
o In areas with frequent weld spatter, it is recommended to clean weld slag daily and then reapply anti-rust oil.
II. Key Operating Specifications
Pretreatment Requirements: After cleaning, inspect the work surface with a micrometer (flatness ≤ 0.10/1000mm). Excessive rust requires grinding and repair.
Process selection: Cast iron platforms are preferably nitrided (blue-gray surface), and steel platforms are recommended to be chrome-plated (plating ≥ 20μm).
