Our 2D Welding Jig Table is a cost‑effective modular flexible fixturing platform engineered for precision welding and assembly tasks. Designed with standard grid holes only on the top surface, this welding jig table delivers reliable X‑Y plane positioning for flat‑structured workpieces. Available in D16 and D28 hole systems, built from stress‑relieved Q355 steel or HT300 cast iron, optional plasma nitriding treatment resists welding spatter. Fully compatible with complete modular clamping accessories, it is an ideal economical alternative to 3D welding tables for sheet metal, chassis, base frame and robotic welding applications. Stands and fixturing components sold separately.

Usage, maintenance, and wear and tear
- Grounding: The tabletop must be connected to the welding machine ground wire to ensure the continuity of the welding circuit.
- Welding slag: Even if nitriding the surface, it is still necessary to avoid direct burning of the inner wall of the hole by high current arc as much as possible; The inner wall of the hole is burned, and the gap between the pins will increase, resulting in positioning failure.
- Cleaning: Remove the welding slag after cooling, and do not directly polish the entire working surface with great force; Polishing will damage the flatness.
- Precision re inspection: It is recommended to use a level to re inspect the plane every 3-6 months; Heavy load and frequent thermal cycles shorten the operating cycle.
- Damage: If a deep pit is locally burned out by an electric arc, only partial welding and milling can be carried out, and the repair cost is high. Prevention is greater than repair.
- Storage: If not used for a long time, apply anti rust oil and avoid humid environments. The steel welding table may rust.

Q: What material options are available for 2D welding jig table?
A: Two main materials: stress‑relieved Q355 steel and HT300 cast iron. Q355 steel features lighter weight and competitive price. HT300 cast iron provides better vibration‑damping performance and lower thermal deformation for high‑precision production.
Q: Is plasma nitriding treatment necessary?
A: Nitriding is optional. It hardens the surface layer, improves wear resistance and makes welding spatter easier to remove. It cannot completely avoid spatter adhesion, but greatly extends table service life. Recommended for heavy‑duty continuous welding workshops.
Q: Does the price include stand and clamping accessories?
A: The quotation covers the table top only. Stands, locking pins, stops, clamps and square boxes are sold separately. Square boxes are essential accessories for vertical fixturing on 2D welding jig tables.
Q: What is your packaging for sea export shipment?
A: Tabletop fixed on fumigated wooden pallet, protected with anti‑rust paper and plywood cover. Lifting lugs are reserved. Tabletop and stands are packed separately.
