The D28 Welding Clamping and Locating Angle is a heavy-duty, precision-machined tool designed to hold metal workpieces at an exact 90-degree angle during welding, assembly, and drilling. The "D28" designation refers to the diameter of the compatible clamping hole (28mm) and the robust structural thickness, making it suitable for medium-to-heavy fabrication tasks.
It functions as both a corner clamp and a positioning jig, ensuring that two parts remain perfectly perpendicular while you tack or seam weld. Constructed from high-strength steel, it eliminates distortion and rework caused by thermal stress or manual misalignment.

Usage Steps
Step 1: Prepare the Workbench
Secure the D28 locating angle to your welding table using 28mm locating pins or T-bolts through the base holes.
Step 2: Position Workpiece 1
Place the first metal piece (e.g., a vertical plate) firmly against one face of the angle.
Step 3: Position Workpiece 2
Place the second piece (e.g., a base plate) against the other face of the angle. Ensure both pieces are flush with the reference edges.
Step 4: Clamp
Use F-clamps, locking pliers, or the side threaded holes to secure both pieces to the angle block. Do not rely on magnetism alone for heavy parts.
Step 5: Tack Weld
Weld two small tack welds on opposite corners of the joint. Wait 5–10 seconds for cooling.
Step 6: Remove & Final Weld
Release clamps, lift the angle block, then complete the full weld seam. The part will retain 90° accuracy.

A:Minimal. The anti-spatter coating reduces adhesion. For best results, apply a thin layer of anti-spatter spray before use. Spatter that does stick can be removed with a putty knife.
