The Fixture Angle Support serves as a core positioning and support component for modular fixturing systems-particularly 3D welding tables. It is designed to precisely fix workpiece angles, enhance fixture rigidity, and expand mounting dimensions. Compatible with both D16 and D28 hole systems, it is widely utilized across welding, machining, and assembly workstations.
- Body: L-shaped (90°-most common), Triangular (high rigidity), or Adjustable (variable angle).
- Mounting Surfaces: Base (for attachment to the platform) and Vertical Face (for mounting workpieces/fixtures); features standard D16/D28 holes or elongated slots (for adjustment).
- Reinforcement Ribs: Triangular or arched design to enhance load-bearing capacity and torsional resistance, preventing deformation.
Materials and Craftsmanship
Material
- Cast Iron (HT200/250): Excellent vibration damping, high rigidity, and low cost; the preferred choice for welding platforms. Surface treated via nitriding or blackening for rust prevention.
- Carbon Steel (Q235/45#):High strength and easy machinability; commonly used for heavy-duty applications and custom components. Treated via quenching followed by blackening or galvanizing.
- Aluminum Alloy (6061-T6): Lightweight and portable; ideal for light-duty fixtures and applications in the 3C (consumer electronics) industry. Surface treated via anodizing for enhanced wear resistance.
Surface Treatment
- Nitriding:High surface hardness (HV ≥ 800), excellent wear resistance, and rust prevention; the mainstream choice for welding fixtures.
- Blackening / Oxidation: Rust-resistant and low-cost; suitable for general operating conditions.
- Galvanizing / Chrome Plating:Highly rust-resistant; suitable for humid or outdoor environments.
