Our Nitrided 3D Welding Table is an upgraded heavy-duty modular fixturing solution for professional weld shops and automated production lines. Different from ordinary painted or blued welding tables, this series adopts low-temperature vacuum plasma nitriding treatment, forming an integrated hardened nitride layer on the steel surface. It completely solves the common pain points of traditional tables - welding spatter sticking, surface rust, easy wear, coating peeling and precision attenuation.
Featuring a full 5-sided precision hole grid system (top + four sides), the table supports arbitrary 3D positioning and multi-angle clamping. It replaces custom jigs with universal modular fixtures, drastically shortening setup time, reducing rework, and improving welding consistency. Ideal for batch production, custom fabrication, and robot welding stations.
We provide two global standard hole systems for nitrided 3D welding tables: D16 (16mm hole / 50mm grid) and D28 (28mm hole / 100mm grid). Each system is fully modular, compatible with standard fixtures, and tailored for different welding workloads and precision demands.

Comparison with a standard, untreated welding table
1. Superior resistance to weld spatter and adhesion
On standard steel tables, welding spatter fuses firmly to the surface, making grinding and cleaning time-consuming; the dense nitrided layer prevents spatter adhesion, allowing it to be knocked off easily and significantly reducing workshop cleanup time.
2. Exceptional wear resistance and doubled service life
Standard carbon steel tables have a hardness of only 100–150 HV, whereas nitrided tables reach 500–900 HV, offering 3–5 times greater wear resistance.
They resist scratching and pitting from frequent fixture insertion/removal, heavy object dragging, and grinding friction, maintaining hole-pattern precision over the long term with a service life exceeding 10 years.
3. Rust and corrosion resistance suitable for harsh workshop environments
The nitrided layer shields against corrosion from moisture, cutting fluids, and welding fumes, preventing rust even in humid coastal workshops or sheet metal pickling areas; this eliminates the need for frequent anti-rust oil application, thereby lowering maintenance costs.
4. No surface peeling; stability far superior to chrome plating or painting
Chrome-plated or painted surfaces lose protection when coatings flake off in large chunks after impact; in contrast, nitriding diffuses nitrogen into the metal matrix, creating a hardened layer integral to the steel itself. It will not peel under impact or grinding, ensuring stable precision under long-term heavy loads.
5. Low thermal sensitivity; minimal risk of localized welding deformation
The low-temperature nitriding process preserves the base material's rigidity, resulting in less localized thermal expansion during high-temperature welding. Flatness remains stable during long-term mass production, ensuring consistent repeat positioning accuracy over time.
