The Octagonal Welding Table is a modular welding fixture platform featuring a perforated surface and a regular octagonal shape, specifically designed for integration with robotic welding systems and positioners or turn-tables. Compared to traditional square tables, it offers greater space efficiency, improved accessibility, and superior suitability for multi-axis coordinated motion in automated welding applications.

Tabletop thickness: 25–50 mm; side height: 100–150 mm; characterized by substantial mass and high rigidity.

2. Material and Treatment

• Base material: S355J2+N/Q355 high-strength structural steel; offers excellent rigidity and deformation resistance.
• Surface treatment: Gas nitriding; provides high hardness, wear resistance, resistance to weld spatter adhesion, and corrosion resistance; suitable for long-term, heavy-duty use.
• Tabletop flatness: ≤0.05 mm/m; ensures repeatable positioning accuracy for robotic welding.

3. Hole System Standards (Modular Core)

• System 16 (D16): Hole diameter φ16 mm, 50×50 mm grid; suitable for small-to-medium workpieces and precision welding.
• System 22 (D22): Hole diameter φ22 mm, 75×75 mm grid; general-purpose type, balancing precision and load capacity.
• System 28 (D28): Hole diameter φ28 mm, 100×100 mm grid; suitable for heavy workpieces, high loads, and thick-plate welding.

Hole features: Holes on the tabletop and all eight side faces allow for workpiece clamping from any side; chamfered hole openings and counterbored undersides facilitate bolt fastening and the insertion of positioning pins.

The octagonal design eliminates right-angled obstructions, allowing robot arms to access the workpiece from any angle (360°) without interference. This minimizes movement, shortens welding paths, and boosts efficiency.

For the same effective working area, the Octagonal Welding Table occupies approximately 20% less floor space than square tables, making it ideal for robotic cells, positioner integration, and assembly line stations.

Constructed with heavy-gauge steel plate, internal stiffeners, and a nitrided finish, the table resists deformation and impact. High flatness and hole-position accuracy ensure consistent results in batch welding.

 Modular, universal clamping for diverse workpieces
Compatible with global standard fixtures (locating pins, quick-release clamps, angle brackets, extension arms, etc.). It eliminates the need for custom tooling, enables rapid changeovers, and suits high-mix, low-volume production.

 Easy automation integration and reduced modification costs
Standard mounting holes on the bottom and sides allow for direct attachment to positioners, rotary tables, lifting platforms, and robot bases, facilitating the rapid setup of automated welding cells.
