Laser cutting is used for blanking, resulting in burr-free edges and dimensional tolerances of ≤±0.1mm, laying the foundation for subsequent precision machining;
Tabletop heat treatment: The 45# steel tabletop undergoes tempering treatment (850℃ quenching + 550℃ tempering) + stress relief annealing, achieving a surface hardness of HRC45~50, eliminating internal stress and preventing deformation during later use; the cast iron tabletop undergoes artificial aging treatment to completely eliminate casting stress, ensuring long-term stability of flatness;
Precision machining: The core process is precision grinding using a CNC grinding machine. Tabletops with holes are first processed with CNC drilling and milling for small-sized hole systems (D28/D22/D16), and the hole walls are then precision reamed + hand-lapped, achieving a roughness of Ra≤1.6μm and a hole diameter tolerance of H6 grade, ensuring smooth and secure insertion and removal of locating pins; hole-less tabletops undergo mirror-finish grinding, achieving a flatness of ≤0.02mm/m, resulting in a mirror-like surface with no gaps when workpieces are placed on it;
Edge and groove processing: The T-slots/dovetail grooves on the tabletop are processed by CNC milling, with a groove width tolerance of ≤±0.01mm, ensuring perfect compatibility with clamping fixtures; all edges and corners are chamfered by CNC machining + hand polishing, with a radius of R3~R5, eliminating sharp edges and ensuring both safety and a comfortable feel;
Surface treatment process: Nickel plating/chromium plating uses a double-layer treatment of chemical plating + electroplating, with a plating thickness of 5~8μm, uniform and pinhole-free, providing splash protection, rust prevention, and scratch resistance; stainless steel tabletops undergo electrolytic polishing, achieving a surface roughness of Ra≤0.8μm, making them easy to clean and suitable for cleanroom environments;
Overall assembly and calibration: After the welding tabletop and base are assembled, a high-precision dial indicator + marble straight edge are used for overall calibration to ensure a tabletop flatness of ≤0.03mm/m. After successful calibration, a precision inspection label is attached, indicating the inspection data. Each device undergoes "individual inspection and individual qualification".

 

Common problems and quick solutions

Fault 1: Locating pin cannot be inserted/removed smoothly → Cause: Splatter/dust/rust on the hole wall → Solution: Clean with compressed air and a fine brush, apply a small amount of anti-rust lubricating oil;

Fault 2: Gap between the workbench surface and the workpiece → Cause: Slight tilt of the workbench/stains → Solution: Level the leveling feet with a spirit level, wipe off stains on the workbench surface with anhydrous ethanol;

Fault 3: Arc damage to the workbench during welding → Cause: Grounding clamp not connected/poor grounding → Solution: Clamp the pure copper grounding clamp onto the workpiece (do not clamp it onto the workbench), ensure good conductivity, lightly polish minor scratches with metallographic sandpaper and then apply anti-rust oil.
