Embedded nuts
Copper nuts made of various embossed wires (usually lead brass, such as H59, 3604, 3602). The embedded knurled copper nuts we come into contact with in daily life are all processed by precision automatic lathes. The reference standard for embedded knurled copper nuts comes from the national standard GB/T809.
The main operation method of embedded knurled copper nuts is injection molding, which is embedded into plastic parts after heating or directly molded. If mold injection molding is used, the melting point of PA/NYLOY/PET is above 200°C. After the embedded nut is hot-melted into the plastic part, the temperature rises rapidly. After injection molding, the plastic body cools rapidly and crystallizes and hardens. If the temperature of the embedded nut is still at a high temperature, it may cause the copper nut to loosen or crack at the contact point with the plastic part. Therefore, copper nuts are used instead of carbon steel nuts in the injection molding of embedded nuts.
There are two ways to form the outer knurling of embedded copper nuts. One is to use copper raw materials to draw patterns and then produce them on the upper equipment. Generally, the drawing patterns of this method are straight lines. The other is to use round copper materials to tap and emboss while producing. This processing method can produce some non-standard knurled copper nuts. The shape of the embedded copper nut embossing can be selected by the user, such as mesh, eight-shaped embossing, herringbone embossing and other knurling patterns.
Alias and uses
Copper nuts, also known as embedded nuts and embedded copper nuts or plastic embedded nuts, are divided into hot-melt copper nuts, hot-pressed copper nuts, embedded copper nuts and ultrasonic copper nuts according to different usage methods.
This product is widely used in mobile phone shells/notebook shells/injection molded parts/plastic parts as an embedded part, used as an internal thread. Generally, the outer circle is embossed to prevent sliding.
